Have your say on Yarrawonga jetty licence price hike

Monday 4 June 2018

Nationals Member for Ovens Valley Tim McCurdy is encouraging Yarrawonga residents impacted by the huge increase in jetty licence fees to attend a drop in session being conducted by Goulburn-Murray Water.

The session will be held on Friday 8 June from 10am to 2pm at Goulburn-Murray Water’s Yarrawonga office, Burley Road for those who wish to provide feedback regarding proposed changes to foreshore licencing arrangements.

Mr McCurdy will attend the session from 11am to 12 noon and encouraged residents to come along and make their opinions known.

“I continue to be contacted by Yarrawonga residents who are being severely impacted by these massive increases in jetty licence fees,” Mr McCurdy said.

“This is a significant issue for Yarrawonga and I advise people to take the opportunity to come along and speak to GM-W about their concerns.

“I am working with residents who have been hit with increases to their jetty licence fee of over 100 per cent, and higher in many instances.”
