Mount Buffalo Chalet
28 May 2019, Mr McCURDY (Ovens Valley): Mount Buffalo should change its name to Mount Disappointment. The Parks Victoria budget has again been slashed in this year’s state budget, so I hold grave fears for any capital investment in the foreseeable future. Sadly, Jaclyn Symes, the Minister for Regional Development, has lost the battle to keep the Regional Growth Fund, and the reduction in Parks Victoria’s budget sends a clear message that Mount Buffalo is too far away from Melbourne to get financial support.
