Meadow Creek solar farm still a concern

Friday, February 23, 2024

“The Meadow Creek and community both support renewable energy. They love renewable energy, and they want to support it.

“However, they also believe that their backyards are not the right place for this project and there should be more communication.

“The referral authority is the state government, the planning minister, which means local communities do not have a say.

“Local government authorities do not have a say.

“It comes down to the state government and the planning minister, and it is either their way or the highway.”
