It’s with great pride that I congratulate Les Harrison of Tungamah on his well-deserved recognition in the 2025 King’s Birthday Honours.

Les has long been a cornerstone of the local community — always involved, always giving, and never seeking the spotlight. His contributions have helped shape Tungamah into the proud and connected community it is today.

This honour is a fitting acknowledgment of the years of service Les has quietly given. On behalf of the Ovens Valley, congratulations and thank you.
