LETTER TO THE EDITOR

I write to share some fantastic news and celebrate the achievements of a remarkable young woman from North East Victoria.

Tup Forge, from Oxley near Wangaratta, has just been crowned the Australian Championship Ranch Bronc title holder.

This is an extraordinary accomplishment and a testament to her talent, resilience and hard work. Tup comes from a proud cattle farming family and represents the very best of our regional spirit.

Now, Tup is set to take her skills to the international stage as she prepares to represent Australia at the Ranch Bronc Championships in the United States this July. It’s a moment of immense pride not just for her family, but for our entire community.

As Tup embarks on this exciting journey, she is also seeking support to help make her international dream a reality. I encourage our local community, businesses and organisations to get behind her – supporting our local champions is part of what makes regional Victoria so strong.

Tup’s story is a shining example of the talent, determination and community spirit that thrives in country Victoria. I know our community will join me in congratulating her and wishing her every success as she takes on the world.
